The Gulf Breeze misting system kit creates a fine mist that reduces temperatures up to 30 degrees in the right conditions…and these DO work in humid climates! When installed and used properly, you will have no surface wetting. Misting systems cool by the water droplets evaporating and removing heat from the air, not by wetting. When these systems are used with (optional) outdoor fans, you increase the rate of evaporation and also the breeze, for optimal cooling conditions without any wetting. The Gulf Breeze misting system kit creates an ultra-fine mist that reduces temperatures without you and your guests getting wet. Turn the misting system on or off with a switch conveniently located right on the side of the system. The Gulf Breeze features a direct drive ceramic plunger pump instead of a pressure washer pump head. The system includes safety features such as a solenoid switch and a pressure switch. That way if someone turns off the power or water, the pump stops spraying and turns off the motor. The pump is protected by a powder coated aluminum housing and easily hangs on the outside wall of you home, in your pool pump room, or anywhere you like. Easy to install around the perimeter of your patio, the 700 – 1000 PSI system includes 12 nozzles, 100 feet of tubing, 110V pump, 1/4-inch fittings, filter, cutter, clamps and ties. Connecting to a normal household water spigot the Gulf Breeze filters the water with a 5 micron 10-inch filter and uses about 1/4 gallon per minute.
