Inspired by French medieval fortress gate towers, the Bastille Fire Tower by The Outdoor Plus is a marvelous choice for spicing up your outdoor space. Hand crafted from Corten Steel, also known as weathering steel, gives your outdoor space a rustic feel. This striking material develops a surface layer of rust that protects it from further deterioration and eliminates the need for painting. However, weathering steel is not ideal for locations with salt laden air, high rainfall, humidity, or persistent fog as these conditions will prevent the steel from forming the protective layer. All components necessary for plug and play application are included, such as fire pan, burner, brass valve, key, and hoses. This Fire Tower measures 24 x 24 inches and a staggering 87 inches tall and produces a maximum of 40,000 BTUs. Access door is included. This unit includes an electronic ignition system that will relight your fire pit if wind blows it out. The electronic ignition can be wired by your local electrician to be controlled by a light switch, pool controller (with available relay), or home automation system.
