This Sunglo hanging patio heater frees your deck or patio by mounting the heater from above. Sunglo heaters utilize radiant heat to warm people and objects, not the surrounding air. The decorative frame is made from stainless steel with a powder-coat black finish that blends in well to nearly any patio decor. This patio heater uses natural gas and operates at 50,000 BTUs per hour. The deep dish reflector broadcasts radiant heat over an area of up to 12 feet in diameter, depending on wind conditions. This heater features a safety pilot system which automatically shuts off the gas if the flame is lost. The Sunglo A244 has a manual ignition system with a match-lit pilot and is operated using an on/off control knob located at the front of the heater. No electrical connection is required, making this heater easy to maintain. A 24 inch clearance from combustibles around the sides of the heater is required for safe use.
