This process is completely natural and takes many years for the color to change from the shiny brown of new copper to the unique green of older copper. Use the included Lava Rock or upgrade to a beautiful selection of Fire Glass. If upgrading to Fire Glass, 75 pounds is recommended. The 304 stainless steel burner produces a maximum 65,000 BTUs. Key valve accepts half inch male fitting hose. This Copper Fire Pit has a surrounding area of 60 W x 24 D x 24 H, and a base area of 48 W x 18 D, with a burning area of 48 W x 12 D x 2 H. Access door included. Burner pan features multiple drainage holes for proper water runoff. This unit includes an electronic ignition system that will relight your fire pit if wind blows it out. The electronic ignition can be wired by your local electrician to be controlled by a light switch, pool controller (with available relay), or home automation system.
