The infrared radiant screens, combined with the stainless steel dual element infrared radiant plate, produce intense and even heat while vaporizing drippings to offer that coveted BBQ flavor anywhere you go. Sear, slow cook, or warm sides on the 12 x 24 inch stainless steel grill grates and 5.5 x 24 inch secondary warming rack. Keep an eye on things with the ultra-high temp glass viewing window and stainless steel, hermetically-sealed thermometer. Purchase a single or double mount (heavy-duty mount recommended, sold separately) for grilling on land or over those majestic waves. With thoughtful features like an anti blow-out burner design, convenient and lockable front-access grease tray, and swiveling control valve for simple, safe canister exchange, the Monterey II is ideal for grilling on land or sea. Ignition requires a single AAA battery (included). The regulator uses a standard 1 pound propane canister (not included).
