This Hinkley 150-Watt Pro-Series Transformer features 12V and 15V multi-tap outputs. The multi-tap outputs help prevent voltage fade over longer wiring runs, so the last fixture is as bright as the first. Ideal for use when your total fixture bulb wattage adds up to 150 watts or less. To prevent overloading the transformer, wattage rating should be higher than the combined wattage of connected fixtures. The transformer is equipped with a built-in circuit breaker for power surges, helping to protect the transformer from overloads, and can plugged into existing standard 120V outdoor receptacles with no need for an electrical contractor in most cases. The transformer is protected by a 304 stainless steel enclosure to keep out moisture and pests. Not only is the transformer X-10 compatible for use with home automation systems, it is also UL certified for use in wet or damp locations. A modular timer and photocell are available (not included).
